HONOR RIDE FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE
The Texas Honor Ride,
Inc. (THR) is a nonprofit corporation registered in the state of Texas.
THR has been granted 501(c)(3) non-profit status by the Internal Revenue
Service.
Participants in the planning and execution of the THR receive no compensation
for time spent on this endeavor. Planning time and professional services such
as graphic artwork, website design, and
website maintenance are donated by
vendors and friends of the THR.
THR incurs only incidental expenses that are
necessary in the course of holding fundraising events.
Private and corporate donations fund the initial purchase of promotional items,
(i.e., Disciples Crosses, T-shirts, patches, etc.) which are then sold to the
public, with the profits going directly to the Warrior and Family Support
Center (WFSC) located on-base in Fort Sam Houston, at the Brooke Army Medical
Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, Texas. WFSC directly supports and attends
to the day-to-day, non-medical (non-funded) needs of recovering wounded troops
and their families at BAMC.
The THR Directors and Executive Committee
conduct this mission in a manner that maximizes the benefits received by the
troops and their families at BAMC. Any questions about this effort should be
directed to Terry Muilenberg, President of Texas Honor Ride, Inc.
