The Texas Honor Ride
The TEXAS HONOR RIDE is now a
nonprofit corporation (separate from
the Lone Star Cowboy Church). We
are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt
organization so all donations are
fully tax deductible.
The
Sept. fundraiser and ride will
be hosted this year by West Conroe
Baptist Church at the corner of
Longmire and North Loop 336 in
Conroe. The date is 19-Sep-09.
We will again have an Apache
Helicopter as well as police and
Coast Guard rescue helicopters. The
6th Cavalry Historical
Society will be on site with
demonstrations and information. New
this year will be entertainment by
Frisbee Dogs. Of course there will
be food, live bands, a silent
auction and a live auction with many
great items for sale. Jason March
and his lovely wife Sandra will be
joining us again this year. Be sure

The ride from Houston to BAMC will
be 7-Nov-09. We hope to be
presenting our biggest check ever to
the Brooke Army Medical Center and
the Warrior and Family Support
Center. Just as at previous Texas
Honor Rides, there will be great BBQ
and live entertainment. Join us in
showing the wounded warriors at BAMC
how much we appreciate their
sacrifice for us and our freedom.
Be sure to put both of these dates
on your calendars so you don’t miss
it.
Also, don’t miss the Space City Bike
Fest at the Montgomery County
Fairgrounds.
The
dates are July 17-19, 2009.
We’ll have a booth there so look us
up and stop by to say HI. While
you’re there be sure to stock up on
some of that great TEXAS HONOR RIDE
merchandise. We still have 2008 THR
t-shirts, patches, pins and, of
course,
Disciples Cross Necklaces.
